My name is Christopher Carrasco. I’m a high school counselor and CAP counselor based in Miami, Florida. I’ve been in the field of school counseling and college counseling since 2017. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies, Religious Studies, and a Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Philosophy.
I started my counseling career as an intern servicing high school students in the realms of social/emotional counseling, academic advisement, and college advisement. Later, I became an elementary counselor for two years. However, recognizing that I wanted to provide more services to students, I returned to the high school setting to become a High School Counselor and College Counselor. My focus is to be present to each student whether it's in academic advisement, social/emotional counseling services, or college advising.
After witnessing the deep need for college awareness amongst students and families, I’ve decided to branch out and provide private services as a College Consultant.
My expertise must tailor to students and families who may not comprehensive access to a counselor due to availability.

In addition, I am a proud member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, a dedicated organization that "position the association centrally in the professional lives of its members and as an advocate for a more accessible and equitable future for higher education." By being a member, I have the opportunity to learn from the best and to stay up-to-date about the latest trends and developments in the college admission process. All this for the purpose to be a better advocate for students and families.
